Eligibility Criteria for B.E. Admission:
Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1991 are eligible, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years i.e., who were born on or after 01st July 1986 are eligible to apply for AEEE 2012.
They should have studied in regular, full-time, formal stream in the school. Candidates appearing for the 12th examinations in March/April 2012 are also eligible to apply. A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science/Biology.
At least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% marks in case of reserved category).
Eligibility Criteria for B.E. (Lateral Entry) Admission:
The candidate should have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved category) in apporopriate branch of Engineering/Technology.
Issue of Application Forms:
Application forms and prospectus will be available at the office of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore-641 043 on payment of Rs.600/- by cash or through post by sending a request letter to the Registrar containing the full address and phone number of the applicant along with a DD for Rs.650/- (for SC/ST students Rs.300/- by cash or Rs.350/- by post on production of attested xerox copy of community certificate) drawn in favour of
“The Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women”, payable at Coimbatore or can be downloading from the website www.avinuty.ac.in.
Last Date for submitting the Application:
Application form duly filled in the candidates's own handwriting, should reach the Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore - 641 043 on or before
15.04.2012.
Admission will be based on 10+2 marks and marks scored from Avinashilingam University Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE)/AIEEE/Entrance Test conducted by any State Government.
