B.S. Abdur Rahman University conducts Engineering Entrance Examination on an all India basis for the selection of candidates for admission to B.Tech/B.Arch Degree Programmes. The selection of candidates for the admission to the above programmes will be made based on the merits of candidates in both qualifying examination and Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year B.Tech./B.Arch. programmes through counselling.

How to Apply:
Registration Instructions:
Step a): Click on New Users Registration and enter your data in the online application form.
Step b): Read through the Terms and Conditions and click on the I Agree button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Step c): Fill in the details requested in the online application form under Register tab. Please do not forget to fill in the fields marked (*) as these are mandatory fields. For any clarification regarding what needs to be filled in each field, click on the How to fill the Form link at the top.
Step d): Click on the Save and Continue button at the bottom of the page.
Step e): On the next screen, choose password, answer hint questions and click on the Submit button to register.
Step f): The next screen will display your unique BSAUEEE 2012 ID
Step g): After successful registration, you will get an e-mail containing your BSAUEEE ID and password. Use this BSAUEEE ID for all future correspondence with B.S.Abdur Rahman University. in connection with BSAUEEE 2012.
Payment Instructions:
You are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 550/-
Get a demand draft for Rs. 550/- from any Bank in favour of
"B.S.Abdur Rahman University" payable at Chennai.
i. Enter the details of DD in the "Make Payment" Tab and click "Submit".
ii. After clicking "Submit". the Payment advice form will load;
iii. Take a printout of the Payment Advice form and your Online Application Form, fill your address and affix your recently taken passport size photograph (write your Name and BSAUEEE id on back side) , sign & send it along with the DD to the B.S.Abdur Rahman University,

Engineering Entrance Examination Centres: Engineering Entrance Examination (BSAUEEE-2012) will be conducted at the following cities;
Tamilnadu: Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Madurai, Nagapattinam, Nagercoil, Ramanathapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Vaniyambadi.
Other States & Union Territories: In the following cities BSAUEE-2012 will be conducted through online mode.
Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Cochin, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mysore, Nellore, New Delhi, Patna, Puducherry, Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam.
Eligibility for Admission to B.Tech. Programmes:
i. Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
ii. Candidates should have appeared for the Engineering Entrance Examination-2012 conducted by B.S.Abdur Rahman University.
iii. Students appearing for 10+2 examination in March/April 2012 are eligible to apply.
Eligibility for Admission to B.Arch. Programme:
i. Candidates should have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics and English as subjects of study.
ii. Candidates should have a minimum score of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)
iii. Students appearing for 10+2 examination in March /April 2012 are eligible to apply.
iv. Candidates aspiring admission to B.Arch need not attend BSAUEEE.
Application Forms:
Application forms can be obtained in person from the following centres, on payment of Rs 600/-by cash or DD drawn in favour of
"B.S.Abdur Rahman University", payable at Chennai. Name of the applicant and other details (BSAUEE -2012) should be written on the backside of the DD.

To obtain Application Form by post send a request letter along with a DD for Rs.650/- drawn in favour of ‘B.S. Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions). Backside of the DD should contain the name of the applicant, programme wish to apply (B.Tech or B.Arch) and other details (BSAUEEE-2012).
Note: Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. programme should use separate Application Form.
Submission of Online Applications:
Candidates who desire to apply online should send a DD for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of ‘B.S.Abdur Rahman University’ payable at Chennai to the Director (Admissions). Backside of the DD should contain the name of the applicant and other details (BSAUEE–2012).
