EPSI NATIONAL ADMISSION TEST (ENAT)
ENAT an Online Combined National Admission Test is focused to be a single window examination for fair and merit based admission for Post Graduate and Undergraduate Programmes including Engineering, Management and Medical in a transparent manner.
A unique feature of this exam is its ability to show examinees their scores immediately as soon as they conclude the last question of the administered test.
ENAT’s role is to assess the candidate’s skills and provide an eligibility list purely based on merit to Universities/Institutions. The admissions however still remain within the jurisdictions of Universities/Institutions.
The ENAT will be conducted only in the English language. In subsequent years ENAT foresees extending the test to cover other languages.
ENAT 2011:
EPSI NATIONAL ADMISSION TEST (ENAT) evaluates applicants for wide range of higher education disciplines, including Engineering, Medicine, Management, Law and others.
ENAT is a critical part of the admission process for Graduate and Post Graduate programmes offered by participating Universities. The online admission test is similar to international testing system, which is a proven and reliable measurement to assess candidates' skill and predict their success in Graduate & Post Graduate Curriculum.
Salient Features:
The candidate sits in front of the computer and the questions are presented on the monitor and the candidate submits his answers by using the mouse.The computer is connected to the server, which delivers the test, in real time through a reliable connectivity.
ENAT 2011 assumes that the candidate has basic familiarity with use of computers like use of keyboard and mouse operation. It is the responsibility of the candidate to acquire these skills before appearing in the test and the EPSI cannot take responsibility for the same.
The final score will be displayed on the test screen immediately after the completion of the test.

Admission:
GENERAL CATEGORY: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2011.
FOREIGN/NRI CATEGORY: Admissions under this category are handled by a separate office.The Office of International Admissions of Manipal University (MU) is the nodal point for international students. Foreign/ NRI students from abroad (outside India) will generally be admitted at the beginning of the academic year commencing in July/ August every year.
Eligibility:
CITIZENSHIP: Indian Nationals.
QUALIFICATION: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
ENAT Test Scores:
Test Scores displayed at the end of the test.
The score sheet printed out and the signature of the student taken.
Post Test Process:
The Test Nodes are reset and any papers and other working materials used are removed.
Results:
Score list generated hours after all batches are over. Various categories are taken into consideration.
The Finger Print & Signature are verified again at the time of admission.
ENAT Booking System:
ENAT booking system is a web based online scheduling system available at www.epsfi.org/ENAT
Candidates can book the test schedule at the centre, date and time of their choice.
The schedule bookings are done on first-come-first-served basis and are subject to availability.
SCRATCH CARD:
The scratch card supplied along with this prospectus should be retained by the candidate and s/he should carry this card along with photocopy of the filled application form for ENAT schedule booking.
Candidates are required to gently scratch the silver panel supplied on the scratchcard to reveal the 9 digit ENAT bookingpassword.
By scratching this card, you agree to be fully responsible for all access, use and activities that occur under your ENAT booking password.
ENAT PROCEDURE:
The candidates must ensure that the computer allotted to them is switched on and any problem with the computer should be informed to the invigilator immediately.
The questions appearing on the screen will be in English. All questions will be of the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ type).
Each MCQ will consist of a stem which may be in the form of a question or an incomplete statement and four responses labeled A, B, C and D. One of the four responses only is the correct or most appropriate answer. Candidates must choose the correct or most appropriate answer by clicking on the button next to the answer. Candidates can navigate freely through the questions.
SCORING, NEGATIVE MARKING:
MD, MS, PG Diploma, MDS, PG Diploma in Dental Materials: Each question carries three marks. Each correct answer will be awarded three marks. One mark will be deducted from the score for each wrong answer. The unanswered questions will receive no (positive/negative) mark.
All other courses: Each question carries one mark. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. The wrong answer or unanswered questions will receive no (positive/negative) mark.
The final score will be displayed in the test screen immediately after the test. The candidate should acknowledge the score in the print out of the score card in the presence of the invigilator.
