Eligibility for B.Tech:

i. B.Tech. (Aerospace, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Media Technology, Mechanical and IT): A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in first attempt with 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

ii. B.Tech. (Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Food Processing & Engineering): A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination in first attempt with 60% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Maths / Biology / Zoology / Botany / Computer Science.

All India Karunya Entrance Examination 2012 (KEE - 2012) & Single Window Counseling - 2012:

KEE - 2012 will be conducted by Karunya University in 60 locations across India on 28th April 2012 from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. KEE - 2012 is an objective type examination, in which questions will be covered from the +2 / HSC level subjects namely Maths, Physics, Chemistry & General Aptitude and Christian Values / General Ethics. Appearance in KEE - 2012 is mandatory for admission to B.Tech. courses. The Admission for all B.Tech. courses will be made based on KEE - 2012 rank only. The Admission for B.Tech. courses will be conducted at Karunya University Campus through Single Window Counseling. The Single Window Counseling will be held on 16, 17 & 18 May, 2012. NRI / International Candidates are exempted from writing KEE - 2012.

Application form and prospectus can be obtained from the Admissions Officer, Karunya University, Coimbatore - 641 114, Tamil Nadu, India by sending a crossed DD(Rs.20/-) drawn in favour of 'THE REGISTRAR, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY' payable at COIMBATORE (or) can be obtained in person at Jesus Calls Centres (www.jesuscalls.org).However, the candidates should send the filled-in application form along with the DD for Rs. 750/- (Seven Hundred and Fifty only) towards application form processing charges.

i. The Candidate NEED NOT fill this E-Application, if he / she have purchased the hard copy B.Tech. application

ii. CANDIDATES WHO ARE STUDYING / HAVE STUDIED HIGHER SECONDARY ABROAD EQUIVALENT TO +2 NEED NOT APPEAR FOR KARUNYA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2012. THOSE CANDIDATES CAN CONTACT THE ADMISSION OFFICE IMMEDIATELY. PHONE 0422 - 261 4440 / 261 4441

iii. It is advisable that the candidate fills the E-Application after obtaining the demand draft for Rs.750/- in favour of "THE REGISTRAR, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY" payable at Coimbatore from any nationalized bank.

iv. The candidate should not have reached 21 years as on 01st July 2012

v. The candidates are advised to fill the E-Application CORRECTLY with utmost care

vi. Once the E-Application is submitted, an unique Application Number will be generated. Note the Application number for future references

vii. It is recommended that the candidate sends all the valid documents immediately to get the examination centre of their preference

viii. No students will be permitted to write the entrance examination KEE-2012 without valid HALL TICKET and photo Identity Card

viii. E-Application report of NRI/FOREIGN Candidates should be sent to THE ADMISSIONS OFFICER, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE, TAMILNADU, INDIA - 641 114 along with the following enclosures :

1. DD for USD 60 (drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR,KARUNYA UNIVERSITY payable at COIMBATORE)
2. Photocopy of 10th Mark Sheet or equivalent
3. Photocopy of Student Identity Card (or) Bonafide Certificate issued by the Principal / Head of the Institution during this academic year (2011 - 12)

ix. E-Application report of Indian Candidates should be sent to THE CHAIRMAN - KEE 2012, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY, COIMBATORE - 641 114 along with the following enclosures :

1. DD for Rs.750 (drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, KARUNYA UNIVERSITY payable at COIMBATORE)
