DU LL.B./LL.M. Entrance Test 2014:
LL.B. (3 Year Course) and LL.M. Entrance Test 2014-15
The Entrance Tests for admission to First Year of LLB (Three Year Degree Course) for the year 2013-14 will be held in Delhi.
LL.B. Date of Entrance Test: 09th June, 2013 (Sunday)
Eligibility: Graduate Degree with 50% marks for General & OBC candidates; Relaxation up to 5% marks for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates; 45% marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW); and degree with pass marks for SC/ST candidates.
LL.M. Date of Entrance Test: 16th June, 2013 (Sunday)
Eligibility: LL.B. Degree (3 Years/5 Years Course) with 50% marks for General candidates; Relaxation up to 5% marks for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates; 45% marks for SC/ST/CW & OBC candidates.
i. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying degree examination are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but admission will depend on minimum eligibility prescribed above.
ii. The reservation of seats is made as per the Delhi University rules.
iii. Bulletin of Information with application form may be obtained from May 06, 2013 by submitting a Bank Draft Rs. 700 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi/New Delhi from the office of the Admission Committee, Faculity of Law, Delhi University North Campus from 10.00 am to 03.00 pm.
iv. The duly filled application form can be submitted from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days and up to 5.00 p.m. on May 30, 2013 or may be sent by registered post to Co-ordinator, Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 so as to reach on or before May 30, 2013. Incomplete applications or applications received after last date shall not be considered under any circumstances.
Sale of Information Bulletin & Application:
i. From the Counter: By Bank Draft of Rs.700.00/- (Rs. 250.00/- for SC/ST candidates) from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007.
ii. By Post: Bank Draft of Rs. 750.00/- (Rs 300/-for SC/ST candidates) to be sent to Convenor, Admission Committee, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 latest upto May 25, 2013.
iii. E-Form: Application Form-may be downloaded from website www.du.ac.in Bank Draft of Rs.700.00/- (Rs. 250.00/- for SC/ST) should be attached along with the Application.
iv. For PH Candidates: The bulletin of information and application form shall be available without any charge subject to the production/sending of the photocopy of the PH category certificate.
The Bank draft should be drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi/New Delhi.

vi. Result of LLB/LLM Entrance Test: Within one week of the test
INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
The candidates are allowed entry only upto 10.00 a.m. after which all gates of Examination Centre shall be closed and no candidate will be allowed entry under any circumstances.
Admit Card: Candidate must show the Admit Card bearing Roll No. whenever asked to by the Examination Centre officials.
STRUCTURE OF LL.B. ENTRANCE TEST: The Entrance Test Paper will have 175 Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers on : English Language Comprehension, to test the ability to analyse written information, comprehending the main ideas and significant details and drawing inferences from the material presented and testing the general comprehension of language including grammar; Analytical Abilities, Legal Awareness and Aptitude for testing the ability to evaluate an assumption, inference or argument that is presented in a short statement and solving the legal problems; for testing general awareness aptitude about law and the legal system; and General Knowledge. All sections may not have equal number of questions.
STRUCTURE OF LL.M. ENTRANCE TEST: The Test paper will consist of 175 Objective Type Questions with Multiple Choice Answers in the following areas, viz. Constitutional Law of India, Jurisprudence, Law of Contracts (General Principles), Law of Torts, Criminal Law, Family Law of Marriage & Divorce and Public International Law (Law of Peace).
