Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following Law Courses for the Academic Year 2013-2014.
The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University was established by the Government of Tamil Nadu by an Act of State Legislature. It was inaugurated by His Excellency Thiru K.R. Narayanan, President of India on September 20th 1997. The University started functioning from 03.10.1997
Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) conducts an admission process for admission to its 5 year B.A.B.L course. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in their class 12th exams. This university is known to provide quality education to its students.
The University is situated in Chennai though other than Chennai it has affiliated Government Law colleges in 5 other cities. A large number of candidates from across Tamil Nadu appear for the entrance exam for getting admission in these colleges. There are over 1000 seats in all these colleges for B. A. B. L. course.

(1) Separate application forms should be obtained for each course
(2) Candidates who are awaiting final year results can also apply
(3) Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on their performance at the qualifying examination and as per the Government Orders.

Applications can be obtained in person or by post from the “The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, ‘Poompozhil’, No.5, Dr. D.G.S. Dinakaran Salai, Chennai – 600 028 by paying prescribed fee. Candidates seeking application by post, are requested to send a requisition letter, mentioning the course to which they are willing to apply, along with requisite fee, to the Registrar. Candidates desirous of applying for Courses in the affiliated Govt. Law Colleges may also obtain the application form in-person, by paying the prescribed fee, from the Principals of the affiliated colleges.

NRI: Candidates seeking admission under NRI quota to 5 year B.A.,B .L.(Hons.) Degree Course, 5 year B.Com.,B.L. (Hons.) Degree Course and 3 year B.L.(Hons.) Degree Course can obtain the application meant for NRI Quota from The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai in person, on payment of the cost of application of US $200/ for each course, by way Demand Draft. As to mode of selection and fees please visit the University website.
Mode of Payment of Application Fee:
(1) Candidates shall submit the application fee by way of Demand Draft drawn on or after
13.05.2013, in favour of
“The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai”, from any of the Nationalised Banks, payable at Chennai.
(2) *To avail concession on application fee, SC/ST candidates shall produce a copy of their community certificate (duly attested by Gazetted officer) along with the requisite fee.
(3) Application fee paid through Cash/Money Orders/Cheque/Bank Pay Orders etc. will not be accepted.
Duly filled in application forms along with the requisite attested enclosures may be submitted either in person or by post to
