Calibre Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) 2010

CMAT 2010 Exam Date: 28 February, 2010

Calibre Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) is an entrance test conducted by Calibre Mindware Programming Pvt. Ltd. It is conducted to enroll candidates into postgraduate level programme in the field of management studies - Master of Business Administration (MBA). Candidates presently appearing for their final exam of Bachelor’s degree can also apply to take the test. Applicants should submit all the required documents carefully, with the duly filled application forms. Application forms can be obtained from specific authorized centers and HDFC Bank branches. Applicants can register online as well on the official website of CMAT i.e. www.c-mat.com. Candidate, who qualifies CMAT, is considered eligible for the MBA course. He/she is subjected to face further admission procedures, which may vary from one B-School to the other.

This test is conducted twice in year. Test scores will be provided at all the participating b-schools selectively in respect of those candidates who apply to a particular B-school, various test centers located in different cities in India. The CMAT score will be valid for one year.

CMAT Bulletin & Form Sale Starts: 18 December, 2009
CMAT Bulletin & Form Sale Ends: 6 February, 2010
Last date of Submission of Form: 10 February, 2010
Date of the CMAT: 28 February, 2010

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should hold a bachelors degree with at least 40% of marks from any recognized university in India.

Candidates who are studying in final year are also eligible to apply.

There is no age restriction for appearing CMAT.

If the applicants are awarded grades / CGPA instead of Marks, the conversion of grades / CGPA to percentage of Marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university / institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree.

In case the university / institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent Marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

CMAT 2010 Application Form:

CMAT 2010 Registration: Registration for CMAT can be done by two ways, online and offline.

CMAT 2010 Online Registration: You will be filling up the form and if you choose to register online, making the payment online.

CMAT 2010 Offline Registration: CMAT Bulletin and Form can be bought by cash for Rupee 900/- from the following outlets:
  • Career Forum Branches
  • HDFC Bank Branches
  • Other Authorised Centers
The CMAT 2010 Bulletin and form can be bought online for Rupee 950/- (Rupee 50/- extra is levied as courier charges). You will find the link to CMAT 2010 online form sale on the home page of the CMAT website: www.c-mat.com. Payment for online purchase of form has to be made by Credit Card. The CMAT bulletin will be couriered to your address.

The CMAT Test 2010 Bulletin and form can be ordered by sending a demand draft of Rupee 950/- (Rupee 50/- extra is levied as courier charges) from Career Forum Ltd. The demand Draft must be in favour of Career Forum Ltd. and Payable at Pune. Ensure that you send a covering letter with the following details: Name, e-mail, telephone number and address with pin code.

Application Procedure:

Candidates can obtain the application form for CMAT through post by paying Rs 900/- or from selected Career Forum branch and HDFC Bank. The application fees can be obtained by paying through Demand Draft drawn from any scheduled bank.

Applicants can also download the application form from its official website www.c-mat.com by paying Rs 950/- through credit card.

Test Pattern: The test paper is divided into 4 sections. Duration for the test is 120 minutes (2 hours). The test paper contain total 100 questions which includes

Verbal Ability: 25 Questions
Quantitative Ability: 25 Questions
Reasoning Ability: 25 Questions
General Awareness: 25 Questions
