EMPI invites application for admission to the PGDM With Dual Specialisations Courses for the Academic Year 2011 – 2013.
EMPI provides you the unique opportunity of choosing your dual specialization out of the 18 combinations, the details of which would made available to you; when you visit our campus for GD/PI.
These combinations are carved out of the 12 elective specializations given below. Please go through the write-up of the specializations which will help you in choosing the combination depending on your interest and passion. The descriptions of each will give the scope, objective, highlights, job opportunities, course structure etc.

Duly completed Application Form should be submitted personally or through post along with the Form Cost of Rs. 1000/- by cash or crossed DD drawn in favour of “EMPI PGI” payable at New Delhi.

Admission Procedure:
The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses is at least a 3-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for Post graduate Studies. Candidates in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree course (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply. However they are required to furnish the proof of Graduation before 30th November of the year of joining.
Application Form and Prospectus are available on payment of Rs. 1000/- by cash or through post by sending a DD of Rs. 1100/-. Forms can also be downloaded from EMPI website. You can also apply online. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “EMPI PGI” payable at New Delhi.
Applicant should fill Part ‘A’ and Part ‘C’ of the form in his / her own handwriting.
Part ‘B’ should be filled by the parent / guardian who will finally support the applicant after carefully understanding the details. Declaration by parent of name of the local guardian is an essential prerequisite for admission and must be submitted in the prescribed form provided separately. If this information is not readily available, the form must be completed by parent later and submitted along with the other information required for admission.
Completed forms must be submitted in the enclosed envelop which carries EMPI address.
The application must be accompanied by attested copies (by gazetted officer) of marksheets (10th class onwards) and other certificates. Applicants should also bring their original certificate at the time of interview. Incomplete applications in any respect will not be processed.
All applicants should first pre-qualify through EMPI prescribed tests. As such all applicants taking the CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET examination, achieving high percentile score are considered for selection for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programmes. This attainment is considered as pre-qualification for stage – II selection procedure of EMPI. All candidates clearing the pre-qualifying test are also required to go through EMPI’s comprehensive Personality Assessment and Profiling Exercise conducted at our Personality Assessment Centre – resulting in building up of a datasheet on each candidate’s strengths / weaknesses. This is subsequently availed to support the student in developing his/her personality through Personality Assessment Centre, Enhancement and Upgradation Processes (PACE-UP) Programme.
EMPI will not be responsible for any postal delays and loss in transit. Applicants are advised to keep in touch with us by telephone / personally to ensure that they are meeting the dates.
Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
Any misrepresentation or suppression of information and misconduct during or after selection will lead to cancellation of admission and expulsion.
EMPI Management reserves the right of final decision on admission in accordance with its policy criterion for overall assessment of individuals.
Eligibility: Candidates must have atleast 3 years of bachelor degree or its equivalent from any of the recognized institute. Candidates who are in their final year of graduations can also apply for the above course. However these candidates have to serve the Certificate of Merit to the concerned authority after two months from the date of admission. Failure to follow the instruction within the due date may result in cancellation of the seat of the respective candidate.
Selection Process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the performance in either of the CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/JMET exam.
Final selection depends on Personality Assessment and Profiling Exercise conducted by EMPI.
