GD & PI for CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT applicants at Ahmedabad, Aizwal, Agartala, Bangalore, Baroda, Bhubaneswar, Bhilai, Chennai, Durgapur, Guntur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkatta, Khargpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Siliguri, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam held during Jan to March 2012. Clause: The Management has the right to add or delete any city from the list.
2. For BBM, MBA (5 years):

ii. Last date for submission of applications for ONLINE Test: 31st May 2012
iii. ONLINE Examination at Vizag and Hyderabad: 3rd June 2012
Application Fee:
The applications are available for online submission or can be downloaded for sending it by registered post/courier. Hardcopy applications are available at GIM, Vizag campus or GITAM City Office, Hyderabad for Rs. 100. The same may be requested for postal delivery by sending DD for Rs. 150.
For Admission into PG:
i. Applicants having CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT scores should submit DD/ONLINE payment for Boys Rs. 1,000 and Girls Rs. 600 towards registration fee.
ii. Applicants for Online exam (having no CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT score) should submit DD/ONLINE payment for Rs. 1250 for boys and Rs. 850 for girls towards registration fee.
For Admission into UG:
Applicants should submit DD/Online payment for Boys Rs. 1,000 and Girls Rs. 600 towards registration fee.
Note:
In case the payment of application fee is through DD, the DD should be taken from any Scheduled bank in favour of "GITAM University" payable at Visakhapatnam
No refund will be made for online or DD payments.

4. Announcement of First Merit list: 10-04-2012
Candidate is exempted from GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT) in case scores of CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT are submitted or likely to be submitted before 15/03/2012.

Candidate is exempted from GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT) in case scores of UGAT / GAT are submitted.
Eligibility:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) & MBA (CMU): A degree with 50% (60% in case of MBA-CMU) or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized University. Admission is on the basis of rank secured in nation wide test of GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT), CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT and GD & PI.
Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM): A degree with 50% or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized University. Admission is on the basis of rank secured in nation wide test of GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT), CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT and GD & PI.
Bachelor of Business Managemnent (BBM): Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with 50% or euivalent CGPA in any discipline from a recognized Board / University. Admission is on the basis of rank secured in nation wide test of GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT) or UGAT.
Master of Business Administration (MBA Integrated): Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% or euivalent CGPA in any discipline from recognized Board / University. Admission is on the basis of rank secured in nation wide test of GIM ONLINE TEST (GOT) or UGAT.
Test Centers:
1. GITAM Institute of Management, GITAM University Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam – 45, AP, India
2. GITAM University Hyderabad Campus, Rudraram Village(opp. to Vijaya Electricals), Hyderabad.
REPORTING TIME: 9 AM.
TEST FROM: 9.30 AM onwards
INSTRUCTIONS: All the candidates are required to report at 8.30 AM and produce hall ticket that is downloaded from the website.
Selection Procedure:
For PG Applicants:
The eligible candidate can apply online or use hardcopy of application (available at GIM, Vizag or GITAM City Office, Hyderabad on payment of Rs. 100 in person or Rs. 150 by post). The candidate has to submit application before the deadline with DD/Online payment towards Registration Fee.
In case, the candidate did not take CAT/XAT/MAT/GMAT, then he/she is required take GIM ONLINE TEST(GOT) on the scheduled dates.
All the candidates are required to attend Group Discussion and Personal Interview at any of the centers on the scheduled dates.
Once the process is over, the candidate will be informed about the selection before 10/4/2012.
The selected candidate is required to pay Commitment Fee to reserve admission within one week from the date of selection.
For UG Applicants:
In case the candidate is appearing for UGAT(AIMA) or GAT (GITAM), there is no need to attend GIM Online Test(GOT). But the candidate is still required to submit GIM application with stipulated fee on or before 31st May 2012. For information on UGAT Test Centers, Application Process, Deadlines etc visit www.aima-ind.org/ugat.aspx.
For all other cases, GOT is compulsory for admission into Undergraduate Management Programs of GIM. Fill the application online or offline with stipulated fee and submit the application before 31st May 2012 Download hall ticket on or after 31st May 2012 for attending GOT.
Selection will be based on marks secured in 10th, 10+2 and Aptitude Test(GOT/UGAT/GAT) with 20%, 40% and 40% weightage respectively.
Status of Admission will be informed through email and SMS on 7th June 2012.

NOTE:
i. The total time for answering 50 questions is 60 minutes for GOT-UG Test . GOT PG candidates are required to answer 100 questions in 90 minutes.
ii. GOT-PG is similar to MAT conducted by AIMA. The candidate may prepare for the exam using any MAT Preparatory book.
iii. GOT-UG test is similar to UGAT conducted by AIMA. The candidate may prepare for the exam using any preparatory books on UGAT that is available in leading Book shops.
