JEMAT 2012 Examination on March 11, 2012 (Sunday).
Rapid development in global business and its impact on India's domestic market call for a professional approach and sensitivity to international business environment. MBA/MMA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes help to develop a pool of human resource to cater for trained personnel in the field of international business management in general and national demand, in particular.
ELIGIBILITY
The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/MMA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held in 2012 & results published by September 2012 may also apply.
HOW TO APPLY
The application form may be downloaded from the websites www.wbut.ac.in and www.wbut.net. Completed application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Written examination fees are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC candidates (without late fine ) while the corresponding fees are Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively (with late fine). The fees are to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata. Attested copies of marksheets, certificates and other testimonials as well as SC/ST/OBC certificates should be submitted with the Application Form.
TEST STRUCTURE
The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of three sections of 2 hours duration (11 a.m. to 1 p.m for JEMAT) as detailed below:
Section I: English - 40 Marks
Section II: Mathematics - 40 Marks
Section III: Logical Reasoning /GK - 20 Marks
ADMINISTRATION
The written examination (comprehensive presentation/interface), GD /PI and centralized counseling will all be conducted by WBUT.
