Applications are invited from eligible candidates of Rajasthan Domicile and from the wards of Kashmiri Migrants for the registration of Rajasthan Management Admission Test – 2011 for admission to first year of MBA/PGDM programmes in Government Aided and Private Un-aided Institutions of Rajasthan running Management Courses(s), except Centrally Funded Institutions, for the academic session 2011-12.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION:
Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and non-creamy layer OBC/SBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate examination. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2+3) degree or equivalent in 2011 may also apply. Provisional candidature for RMAT-2011 shall be granted to such candidates and admission will be given subject to furnishing the mark sheet of the qualifying examination.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:
A candidate must ensure that he/she is eligible for admission to various Government aided and private unaided institutions of Rajasthan conducting MBA/PGDM course before filling up the RMAT-2011 Application Form. If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason, then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage. Various eligibility criteria for admission to MBA/PGDM course shall be as under:
The candidate must possess Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Non creamy layer OBC/SBC candidate), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination. However, the candidate appearing for the qualifying examination (Graduate Degree) in 2011 will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but his/her admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the mark sheet of qualifying examination. Final year appearing students are required to submit a certificate from college/institution (Cerfiticate-6). Download from website www.rmat2011.org Non-Collegiate students shall get the certificate-6 signed by the centre/university.
RESERVATION OF SEATS:
The reservation of seats shall be as per the directions of the Government of Rajasthan. As prescribed by the Government of Rajasthan (except in case of private unaided institutions and 50% seats in the self finance course of the aided institutions) the reservation of seats will be made subject to the prevalent statutory provisions of the State of Rajasthan viz. 16% for SC candidates, 12% for ST candidates, 21% for candidates belonging to non-creamy layer OBC and SBC category.
Provision will also be made for horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to physically handicap (PH), 25% for women category and 3% for dependants of Defense Killed/Ex-servicemen / Gallantry award winners. Reservation for PH will be applicable for private unaided institutions also.
Priority for Category of Defense Persons will be as follows:
EXS1 - Killed in action
EXS2 - Disabled in action and boarded out from service/Died while in service with death attributable to military service/Disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service
EXS3 - Gallantry award winners
EXS4 - Ex-servicemen
Reservation of girls in this category: 50% of the reserved seats in this category are earmarked for the girls.
Kashmiri Migrant (KM) Category:
5% of total intake capacity over and above the sanctioned strength in each of the institutions will be reserved for Kashmiri migrants. Sons/daughters of the displaced persons from Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for admission through RMAT-2011. The candidate has to submit a certificate from the competent authority as a proof of being son/daughter of displaced person from Jammu & Kashmir.

Definition of SC / ST / Non creamy layer OBC/SBC Category: The benefit of reservation under SC / ST / Non creamy layer OBC/SBC category shall be available only to the candidates of the castes as notified under Presidential order for the State of Rajasthan, for which, the certificate should be issued by the competent authority as mentioned in Certificate No. 2 in this booklet. However for claiming the benefit in non creamy layer OBC category, the candidate will also have to furnish an undertaking in the prescribed performa as given in Certificate No. 2. It is further clarified that candidates belonging to creamy layer OBC and SBC category are not entitled for reservation benefits and shall be treated in General category, therefore, creamy layer OBC and SBC candidates should fill General category in their ONLINE application form. The candidates are advised to visit the website www.rmat2011.org as well as web site www.ncbc.nic.in of National Commission for Backward Class (NCBC) for criteria laid down by the Government for creamy layer.
Exact number of seats (Seat Matrix) will be notified through web site before counseling.
Note: For seeking the benefit of reservation in any category, sufficient documentary proof must be submitted along with the confirmation page generated on submission of the online application form. (the formats of certificates for various reservation categories can be downloaded from website www.rmat2011.org). Category, once indicated at the time of submission of application form along with documentary proof, will not be changed afterwards in any case.
COST OF RMAT-2011 ONLINE APPLICATION FORM:
The cost of RMAT-2011 ONLINE Application Form is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only). It also includes the RMAT-2011 examination fees. The bank will charge a fee of Rs.10/- as processing fee.
This fee is neither refundable nor transferable/adjustable for RMAT to be conducted in future.
A plea that the candidate failed to receive the information for appearing in the RMAT-2011 will not be accepted as a ground for the refund of this amount or any other dues.
Fee can be deposited in any CBS branch of PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK (PNB) by Bank challan form.
SUBMISSION OF ONLINE GENERATED CONFIRMATION PAGE RMAT-2011:
Candidate is required to send confirmation page (Duly filled RMAT 2011 online application form) Bijapur and one original copy of the bank challan form along with the attested copies of certificates Bijapur(as mention in 6.1 to 6.7), up to April 18, 2011 at 5:00 PM by any one of the below mention address;
(i) By Registered Post/ Speed Post (not by courier in any case) to

(ii) In the locked drop box placed at the RMAT-2011 office, MLVTEC, Bhilwara.
In any case, the confirmation page should not be handed over to any person. No other institute/agency is authorized to collect the form on behalf of RMAT-2011. Forms sent through courier shall not be accepted.
Admit cards of the candidates will be dispatched from 10th – 14th May 2011. If you don’t receive it by 21st May 2011, contact the RMAT Office. Furthermore, please check the APPLICATION FORM STATUS at www.rmat2011.org. If any deficiency is still remaining there, send the supporting documents along with DD of Rs 250/ drawn in favour of “Coordinator RMAT 2011” at the following address: Coordinator RMAT-2011, MLV Textile and Engineering College, Pur Road Bhilwara .
Print the Admit Card online. Candidate is to preserve the authenticated Admit Card till the Admission processes of the desired RMAT-2011 are over. In case of loss of Admit Card, same can be downloaded from the RMAT 2011 website.
Bring the photo-identity to the Test Centre in addition to the Admit card. An acceptable photo identity card is any one of Passport/ Driving license/ School / Institute identity card/ Credit card with photograph/ Voters ID or equivalent.
Please preserve this Authenticated Admit Card for further selection processes of individual Institutes.
The Coordinator RMAT-2011 reserve the right to withdraw the permission granted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear at the RMAT-2011 even though the Admission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of RMAT-2011.
The test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions with 4 alternative answers. The correct choice of answer is to be filled in the OMR sheet using Black Ball Point Pen. Duration of the test will be 150 minutes (2 l/2 Hours). There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Total: 200 Questions
It is not necessary that the above order/ sequence is maintained in the question paper.
The Medium of RMAT-2011 would be English.
EXAMINATION CENTERS: Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur.
SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION:
The RMAT-2011 will be held on 29th May, 2011 (Sunday) from 10.00 A.M. to 12.30 P.M.
The Schedule of the Test will be:
Candidates should report to the test centre: 09.30 A.M.
Commencement of the examination: 10.00 A.M.
No Candidate will be permitted after: 10.15 A.M.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before: 12.30 P.M.
EVALUATION AND DECLARATION OF RESULT:
The final merit list would be prepared strictly on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in the written test. The merit list will be displayed on the notice board of the Coordinator's office and will also be available on the RMAT website TENTATIVELY up to June 15, 2011.
If two or more candidates secure equal marks in written test, then the following priority order will be the basis for preparing merit list
1 Reasoning and Aptitude
2 Data Analysis and Interpretation
3 Mathematical Ability
4 English Language Proficiency
5 General Awareness
If even after this, two students have equal marks, then one who is born earlier will be given preference Bijapur
The admission in the state quota of MBA/PGDM institutions in Rajasthan will be strictly in accordance with the merit in the RMAT-2011. The process of admission will be performed in accordance with the guideline provided by the Government of Rajasthan. The admissions will be done through on-line counseling, details of which will be provided at the time of test and on the RMAT-2011 website.
Note: In case of any other mode of counseling, separate instructions / guidelines will be provided to the students through Newspapers, Website etc.
