BACHELOR OF MEDICINE AND BACHELOR OF SURGERY (MBBS): 4½ years Degree Course plus one year Internship
There shall be a course for the Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) under the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (BDS): 4 Year Degree Course plus one year rotating internship in Dental College
There shall be a course for the Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) under the Faculty of Medical Sciences.

Note: The Counselling will be held at the Conference Centre, opposite Department of Botany, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The candidates are required to report at 09:00 A.M.
This Bulletin of Information (BOI) along with application form is obtainable by hand against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General/OBC Category and Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST Category as per details given in clause 1.4 from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 on all working days from 10.05.2013 (Friday) to 10.06.2013 (Monday) between 9:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
The Application Form may also be downloaded from Faculty website www.fmsc.ac.in and the same may be sent to the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi – 110007 duly filled in alongwith requisite Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque amounting to Rs.750/- for General and OBC category or Rs.550/- for SC/ ST category in favour of the ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi.
Computing procedure for admission to MBBS/BDS Course 2013:
The University of Delhi will not conduct Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses under Delhi Quota for the Session 2013-14. Instead, admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for all categories under Delhi Quota will be made on the basis of the merit obtained by the eligible candidates in NEET (UG)-2013 conducted by CBSE. The candidate must apply/appear in NEET (UG)-2013 to become eligible for admission under Delhi Quota in the MBBS/BDS Courses of University of Delhi.

Display of Merit List: The Merit List of eligible candidates shall be notified on 15.06.2013 on the website www.fmsc.ac.in
Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course under Delhi Quota:
The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
(i) The Physically Handicapped candidates having disability of lower limbs from 50% to 70% are eligible and may apply as per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India.
(ii) In the event of all the seats reserved for PH category not being filled up from among the Physically Handicapped candidates with the above stipulated physical disability then the seats will be offered to the candidates within the physically disability of 40% to 50%
