Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education Research was established in 2004 by Meenakshi Ammal Trust. The Meenakshi Ammal Trust was founded in the year 1983 as a public charitable and Educational Trust by Mrs. D. Meenakshi Ammal, a noted philanthropist. MAHER later got recognition as a deemed university by University Grants Commission (UGC) as Meenakshi University. For all the major courses it offers, Meenakshi University has different colleges. A large number of candidates appear for admission in MAHER 2011 and the competition is quite tough specially for MBBS course.This institute is amongst the top medical institutes of Chennai. The Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education Research is spread over an area of 39.08 acres of land. MAHER provides its students with best of facilities, faculty, and infrastructure and placement opportunities. The MAHER provides Central Library, Smart Classrooms, auditorium that can accommodate 4,000 persons and Lecture Halls etc.
Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education Research (MAHER 2011) conducts an entrance test for admission in to its under-graduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, BSc. (Nursing) & B.P.T. For all courses a common entrance exam is conducted. The applicants need to prepare hard to get their desired course. The candidates have to collect an application form in order to enroll their names for the entrance exam.
Eligibility of MAHER 2011:
- A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply.
- Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2011.
Admission Criteria MAHER 2011:
Merit Based Admission - Common Entrance Test conducted on All India level for MD/MS, MDS, M.Sc(N), MBBS, BDS, B.Sc(N), B.P.T, M.P.T, . There is no Distance Mode.
Availability of Application Formss for MAHER 2011:
The forms for MAHER 2011 Medical are expected to be available by April in Meenakshi University. The form can also be obtained by post from Meenakshi University by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form online through the website
www.maher.ac.in.
