Karnataka SET (K-SET) 2011 Exam Date: 23rd October, 2011 (Sunday)
KSET General Instructions:
1. The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the Test before filling the online application and submitting the printout of Online Application Forms to their respective test centers.
2. Candidates will be issued the Admission Card by the Nodal officer of the respective University Test Centers after allotment of test venue. Candidates should note that their candidature is strictly provisional. The mere fact that Admission Card has been issued to any candidate shall not imply that the K-SET center has finally accepted his/her candidature.
3. K-SET center may change the examination centre(s) or date of examination without assigning any reason.
4. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.
5. No TA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Test
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
7. The decision of the K-SET authorities shall be final in all matters.
8. All legal disputes pertaining to this Test shall fall within the jurisdiction of Mysore.
9. Candidates should correspond only with the NODAL officers (Name and address are given in the website) of respective university test centers opted by the candidate for Admission Card or any other relevant information. K-SET center at Mysore will NOT entertain any such requests/queries in this regard.
10. The use of calculators or Log Tables is not permitted. Cellular phones, pagers and electronic devices etc. are not allowed in the Examination Hall/Room.
11. A candidate who does not appear in paper-I, will not be permitted to appear in paper-II and paper-III
12. Candidates will not be allowed to write any question from the Test Booklet on the Admission Card or on any other paper.
13. Those candidates who do not receive their Admission Card (Roll Number) for appearing in the K-SET till 30th June 2011 are advised to contact the NODAL office of the concerned test center opted by the candidate, with the copy of Admission Card (Provisional) and two identical passport-size photographs duly attested by a gazetted officer. No Admission Card (Roll Number) will be issued on the day of the Test (i.e. 28th August, 2011). K-SET center will not be responsible for any delay/non-receipt of the Admission card.
14. The descriptive papers, i.e., Paper-III of language subjects English, Kannada, Sanskrit, Hindi and Urdu must be answered in the concerned language only.
15. Candidates should ensure that the signatures appended and photographs pasted by them in all the places, viz. in their Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card should be identical and there should be no variation of any kind.
16. The candidates in their own interest are requested to retain a photocopy of the Application Form, Admission Card and Attendance Slip for their record.
17. Applications submitted on any other format will not be accepted.
18. Printout of online application form should NOT be sent directly to the Co-ordinator, K-SET center, University of Mysore, Mysore.
19. Applications received after the last date (i.e 10th, May, 2011 ) at the respective test centre will not be accepted.
20. Submission of Online Application is mandatory. Hard copies submitted to the Test Centre without online submission, will not be accepted.
21. Application Form must be completed in all respect as per the Notification and declaration signed in the form. Candidates who have NOT signed the declaration on their application will be rejected.
22. Applications failing to provide the following informations / attested documents shall be REJECTED.
i. Correct test center.
ii. Correct subject.
iii. Valid Cast certificates of SC/ST/Category-I to support their claim.
iv. Valid Category-IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB Certificates.
v. Valid VH/PH certificates.
23. All incomplete Application Forms will be rejected.
