Scheme & Date of Test: The examination consists of three papers;

Paper I: It is of general nature and intended to assess the teaching/ research capabilities of the candidates. It is primarily designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidates, as per the changed syllabus of Paper 1.
Paper II: It consists of short question based on the subject selected by the candidates. I & II Paper will consist of a test booklet containing 50 objective type questions. The candidates are required to mark their response by blue ball pen only for each question on the answersheet.
Paper-III: It Consists of only descriptive questions from the syllabus of the subject selected by the candidates. The candidates will be required to attempt questions in the space provided in the test booklet. The pattern of Paper III has been changed.
Note: There is no negative marking for wrong answers in Paper-I and Paper-II. A candidate who does not appear in Paper-I will not be permitted to appear in Paper-II and Paper-III. Paper-III is evaluated only for those candidates who are able to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Paper-I and Paper-II. For Visually Handicapped candidates 30 minutes extra time is provided separately for Paper I and Paper II. For Paper III 45 minutes extra time is provided. They are also provided a writer who would be graduate in a subject other than that of the candidate. In Paper III candidates have the option to answer either in Hindi or in English in all subjects except languages. language papers are to be answered in the concerned Language only.
